So happy I found this printer!
I more than love this ET-15000 printer. My girlfriend would tell you that I have a bit of an infatuation with it. I have owned a few in my life and I doubt there is a better home printer for the average person than this one. The key to it is that the ink is super cheap and you can just pour it in, it prints beautifully, it has never failed for me, and it just does exactly what you want it to do.
I work in an office and I can't tell you how many times I have heard people yelling at the printer. They are notorious for getting jammed, failing, needing repairs, running out of ink, being expensive, etc. This particular printer is the best at having you not have to worry about all of those things.
I bought it originally to sublimate on to tee shirts. That business Idea lasted about 1 week for me... and I was left with a printer that I was told would not be useable because I filled it with sublimation ink. Well, I emptied the sublimation ink, refilled it with regular ink and flushed it out.. and I'm so happy that I did because this printer is amazing.
The ink comes in bottles that you can buy online for around $20! I will post the ink I use as well. It lasts months or probably over a year for most people. One refill must last about 1500-2000 color pages and when the ink gets low, you just crack a bottle and fill it up. It lives up to it's name "EcoTank". It is super economical and easy to fill and use. The bottles design is ingenious and it basically cannot spill.
I started printing on glossy photo paper. Which now that I think about it I will also link it on my website. The pictures it prints with high quality are in my opinion indistinguishable from photos you would print at CVS. You can now have a photo printer at home as well. We use it to make cards, small posters, photo albums, etc. And there is no more worry about "Using too much ink" because of the cost. Other than an occasional paper jam, I've had no issues at all with mine. This thing pays for itself in a short while if you print a lot. Especially if you decide to try printing photos with it as well.
Recently, we've been printing tons of things. We use it much more often than the average user, more like a business and I have zero complaints about the printer. It connects to wifi, it scans, it has many cleaning and maintenance options, it can be adjusted for faster printing or photo quality. All around amazing!
