Owala makes the best water bottles. I recommend them for their durability, functionality, and they are completely leak proof.
Samsung QLED TVs
Samsung QLED TVs have one of the most beatiful pictures out of all. They are not overly priced. High quality, fast menus, I've had one for years with no issues. Just all around great TVs. I like LG OLED, but I bought one that had dead pixels. I bet the Samsung OLEDs are great as well, but I haven't owned one, so I don't know first hand. I do know the QLED pictures are bright and sharp and I enjoy watching them.
Crock-Pot Slow Cookers
Crock-Pot slow cookers are the trusted long term brand. Because most slow cookers work well, I tend to go with the one that's been doing this since the 70's. I've owned a few of their Crock-Pots and have never had a problem with them. They just work well and keep on working well.
North Face Backpacks
I owned one North Face Backpack for over 15 years and it still worked as well as the day I bought it. The construction and design is durable and stylish. The zippers seem to work forever. They're well thought out and engineered for years of use without concern. My favorite brand of backpack.
Anker Electronics and Power Banks
Anker is my go-to brand for all things power bank and charging. They make compact, light, small, high capacity power banks. Their cords and cables work well and don't fail as early as other brands. I've just never had problems with Anker cords, chargers, and power banks, so I keep going back for more!
Messermeister Knives
Messermeister Knives for me are a matter of personal preferance. I love how they look, they are high quality blades from Germany. There's lots of knife companies out there, but when I researched these to get a set of steak knives, this brand kept standing out as the best. They're very high quality. I've had the set I own for about 6 years now and they still work as well as the day aI bought them. I tend to get straight blades instead of serrted because you can easily sharpen them and keep them working like new!
Tripp Lite Power Strips
Tripp Lite Power Strips again are the industry leader. I've used them at home and at work for years and never had any problems with them. Power strips are something particular that I don't want to mess around with. Yes, you can get a $10 power stip instead of a $30 power strip, but for me I trust that Trip Lite follows all safety rules and regulations and when it comes to home safety, I'd rather have the top brand for something like this.
Ridgid 18V Power Tools
Where to begin on Ridgid 18V cordless tools. I had a mix of brands, but then the batteries weren't interchangeable. I switched to dewalt which is a great brand, but they are more expensive. Then my father told me about the Ridgid 18V line. They work great and Ridgid offers a lifetime warranty. Once you receive an item, even a battery, you register it to your account and it's covered for life. If a battery or tool fails, they repair or replace it without issue. I've been collecting these now as my primary set of cordless power tools for about 8 years and I'm very happy I have been. I recommend the drills, torque drivers, orbital sander, vacuums, inflators, all of these products are great. Batteries are interchangeable and they last a lifetime, literally.
OtterBox Cell Phone Cases
OtterBox is the industry leader for cell phone cases and in my experience, I haven't damaged a phone while using them. They are generally low profile and protective and that's really the two main reasons to get these.
Brita Water Pitchers
I lived in a town in PA for a while and one day, I drank water from the faucet and I could smell bleach. I went to google and asked "Why does my faucet water smell like bleach?". I was enlightened and horrified by the answer... "Because it has bleach in it". Cities add protective chemicals to water supplies in concentrations that are supposed to be acceptable for human health. However, I have no interest in taking that risk. When I want to drink water, I want water, not water and bleach or whatever other chemicals they add. I began using Brita Water Pitchers daily and have never stopped. We now have a very large one in the fridge and we also have a poland spring water delivery service. Personally, I think I will thank myself in 40 years, but in addition, this one comes down to keeping the family safe as well. I've tried a few of the other brands, but Brita tastes the best and we've also tested it to beat the other brands and the large filter on the refridgerator in my kitchen.

I did countless hours of research on these and Levoit is the best of the best. Mine has been no exception. We use it daily and I feel like the air my family breathes is now cleaner, safer, and healthier.
I think for someone who has poor air quality, this is an absolute must-have. For others like me who are lucky to live in a place with great air quality, it's still really very nice to have for peace of mind. I know at all times that I breath fresh air in my house and that my family and our friends do as well.
Epson EcoTank
I have a very long and detailed writeup for the EcoTank ET-15000 in the ShopBlog. I'm sure all of the EcoTanks work as well, but ET-15000 is probably the best of the line. An Excerpt from my blog posting:
I more than love this printer. My girlfriend would tell you that I have a bit of an infatuation with it. I have owned a few in my life and I doubt there is a better home printer for the average person than this one. The key to it is that the ink is super cheap and you can just pour it in, it prints beautifully, it has never failed for me, and it just does exactly what you want it to do.
Nikon Digital SLR Cameras
I've been an amateur photographer for about 20 years. I have always gravitated towards the Nikon brand because the most important factor to me is picture quality and I think that Nikon delivers the best photo quality. To me, they are the top of the line. In the art world, there's always some factor of preferance, but if you haven't tried one Nikon is my suggsted brand.
